Dr. Carl McLaughlin and his wife, Veta, have pastored Calvary Pentecostal Church since 1996. Dr. McLaughlin earned his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Leadership at Hope International University and his Doctor of Education (Ed.D) with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University. He has served in multiple roles with the United Pentecostal Church International at sectional and district levels. In addition to his pastoral duties, he serves as the founder and President of North Texas Christian College (NTCC).
Dr. McLaughlin is the author of Standing Strong in the Storm: An Exposition of I, II Peter. He is a certified Prepare/Enrich Trainer who equips pastors, pastors’ wives, and lay leaders to become facilitators of the Prepare/Enrich marriage assessment tool. Dr. McLaughlin is passionate about seeing lives changed and families strengthened through Christian leadership and spiritual growth. He and his wife have five children and one grandchild: Jonmichael, Gabby, Blake, Claire, Jenna and his granddaughter Brielle. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing, being on the water, and all things outdoors. You will not have to look far to see that the top shelf in his life is spending time with his family and building memories.
